Krista Poppenberg Mack
Krista Poppenberg Mack has been an avid horsewoman her entire life and comes from a dedicated horse family. As a youth, she showed in 3-Day Eventing, Combined Driving Events (CDE), Dressage & Vaulting and was an avid member of Pony Club. Krista's experience has been carefully honed since age 3 when she got her first pony, Trixie, shown below.
More recently, Krista has been the Head Riding Instructor for Woodside Jr. Riders. She has also been the Head Horse Trainer for The Woodside Vaulters who competed at The World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany in 2006. She was awarded 2007 Trainer of the Year by the AVA committee and has trained 3 horses (Giovanni & Lorino) to Horse of the Year Award in 2006, 2007 and 2008 & 2009! During the Summer of 2009, Krista took her vaulting team “B” to the American Vaulting Association (AVA) National Championships in Kentucky and won Gold!
When her busy schedule allows, Krista enjoys competing in Combined Carriage Driving Events and at local Dressage Shows. Above she is shown with her reliable junior partner Joey, who she still owns to this day.

Krista was the 1995 Woodside Jr. Rodeo Queen.
Here Krista is giving a Side-Saddle Demonstration at the Filoli Estate in Woodside aboard the Morgan Mare, JP's Prima Donna.
Yet another skill of Krista's is Driving, here she accepts the award for the West Coast Jr. Driving Championship.
